I'm sure you all know so much more than me about tomatoes but i really wanted to recommend Sungold F1 tomatoes, they're little cherry toms that are so sweet even my 18 month little girl eats them like grapes (won't touch shop tomatoes) 8)  Seeing as i only started this year i'm chuffed!!!!!!

... massive plant it was ... turned out to be a ruddy courgette!!!

But I won't have that problem next year as I've bought 200 plant labels.

And you've got to use them properly. I mentioned before that my Desiree spuds came up white!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Exactly.  Heh Wellies, remember to leave some of the labels blank - save these for the rows into which you forget to put any seeds.

That's the daftest thing I've heard today. It's a waste of a label. If you forgot to sow any seeds, you may as well forget the label.

No label - it'll remind you there are no seeds!

Very well done Wildeone, but it means you are well and truly hooked.FOREVER>
On labels,my grandaughter begged to write down the names of all the flowers I had just planted earlier this year.
I gave her a marker and some labels and said put down what the flower is and the colour.Take the information off the sticker on the trays
When she had finished I looked at her handiwork.
She had written. Wyevale pinkish
Wyevale pinkish again
Wyevale not so pink
wyevale blue I picked this one.
wyevale yellow
etc. etc.
She got put out when I said I would have to do them over.So there they are still.
