Tomato Feeding Question
« on: August 13, 2011, 10:45 »
All of my greenhouse toms have done their bit now - we've got loads of tomatoes of all shapes & sizes, I guess they're not going to get much bigger now, but just need to ripen.

My question is - do I need to continue feeding them now, or, as they've probably mainly reached their ultimate size, is just watering sufficient. Perhaps I'm being a bit tight, but I don't see any point in paying for further feeds if it's not necessary

well the top trusses on my cordon toms are still only pea size with some flowers, and I would like to have toms for as long as possible.................so I carry on feeding into September.

The bush plum toms that won't grow any more trusses I just feed until they start ripening.

I seem to remember that you quit using tom feed and use general feed later in the season.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
