Calbrese or Broccoli?

I sowed and planted my alleged Calabrese a good few months back and they are shooting  

They seem to be producing Broccoli shoots/spears rather than one big head, so i can't decide if it's Calabrese that has bolted or Broccoli that is doing as it should.

It deffinately said Calabrese on the pack but it's not acting like it  
The spears are tightly formed and upto 2" in diameter a couple have started to flower so i pulled them off.

Has anyone had this before?

Been away for a week and didn't manage to get through all the posts since last visit.

I will, im going to the plot tonight so i'll harvest whats ready and have it with my leftover cottage pie from Monday night that my OH made me for my Bday.
