........ I pulled my first White Gem parsnip tonight! Just finished eating it with my Toad-in-the-hole and it as delicious, drenched in honey and wholegrain mustard!!! Can't wait for the frosts now if they already taste this good!

Have around 10 myself and the foliage has mostly died back, I've wondered whether I should dig one out and give it a go before the frosts. Think I will after you post.
