Drinker Q
« on: August 08, 2011, 12:47 »
At what age can chicks/growers move on to a bigger drinker?
My lot are 6 weeks old and a 1 liter chick drinker seems too small for them.

By 6 weeks mine are all using the normal 18L drinkers the adults use (but they are all ouside by that time too).  the only ones which aren't are the 'poots becasue they are so small, so I use a 4 L drinker (but still on legs)

Mine were on 1L feeders and drinkers till they were about 10 weeks old.

As long as they are able to bclimb out of they fall in, they will be fine.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

Thank you, I've now put the bigger drinker in the run but left the small one in too for now.
