When taking cuttings, the compost it tells you to use is 'gritty', when it says grit, does it mean like the grit you put on the snow in winter, or a special horticulutre grade grit?
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

the grit for roads includes salt and other stuff to stop the roads freezing, deffo don't want ti anywhere near your plants.

Horti grit or horti sharp sand is what you want :)
