How nice are plotties. :)

There is this guy on my site, and every time i see him he asks how i'm doing.

He shows real interest in what i'm upto, and gives loads of advice.

I think it's great that this guy of 65+ stops and chats for so long with me 32.

He has offered me apples, lettuce, runner beans, french beans, peppers, chillies, cucumbers and a lot more, plus new seeds for next year.

I can't believe how nice these people are.

And he isn't the only one.  8)

Most allotment holders tend to be friendly - don't know why but I'm not complaining!

I think perhaps with lottie holders, they are not big commercial growers, they don't get paid to do something they don't like, they just do it because they enjoy it, and most of them like to see others enjoy themselves as well!

I think that's why this site is so good.  Don't want your head to get any bigger John, but everyone who joins says what a lovely site this is, you even have people joining, who don't even HAVE an allotment (like me!!!!)

It won't fit in your greenhouse when you build it. You may have to join me on the roof! -   O
Keep the plot cultivated, that's the best way to ensure its future.

ive made some great people down the lottie, and our plot neighbour is a wonderful man who cannot help us enough even though he's a pensioner with a very large plot to keep up with.my kids love him as well as he's a old teacher who takes them aside and shows them all sorts of interesting things.
