patty pan f1 polo when to harvest?

hi all, i have grown patty pan f1 polo for the first time, i went to the lottie today and they are massive i thought they were supposed to be tennis ball sized but they are about 3 times bigger, have i missed the optimum harvesting time or can they be picked at whatever size you like? thanks in advance x

Pick the quickly as they are a bit on the big size now and might have seeds inside.

You can still use them: just cut out the seedy bit before cooking them
