first time in my history of gardening , went round the garden and found that some anal no brain had stomped all over and destroyed the cabbage and brocoli plants i put in th garden for the old folks plus wrecking the other stuff that was there .am now in the process of getting replacments .and layimg a few traps fopr the b******s.....

Really sorry to hear of the old folks' losses and of your hard work. With food becoming expensive there, I can't understand why someone would damage it. I'm sure you'll fix the rotten little sod.

... when the stuff is pinched, but when it's just ruined for sheer devilment, you do have to wonder!

I've just had it confirmed that our plot is getting a security fence right round the plot, which should improve my chances of sinking my teeth into a pear next year!

Ridiculous though, that you have to erect an 8 foot security fence when all people need to do is to respect the property and hard work of others.

I hate to say it Wellingtons, but an 8ft security fence doesn't stop the little swines getting into ours. They use matresses to put over the barbed wire and climb over. :x
