Is it possible to dissolve bfb in water to spray on to plants? Or should I just fork it in to the soil? I only ask as I worry about damaging my plants with the fork.

It doesn't dissolve, but you don't have to fork it in.............just stir the top layer of soil a little bit so it's lightly covered.

So I could sprinkle it in after hoeing then?

Words of caution, dont get it on the leavves as it may burn them, dont panic if you do but wash it off immediately
