Miniature chicken breeders near London anyone?

Hey,

I'm having trouble finding breeders of miniature chickens near me. If anyone knows of any, particularly ones which have a large variety of miniature breeds that would be amazing. I'm willing to travel upto 70 miles from N. London.

most backyard breeders tend to specialise in just one or two breeds. By minatures do you mean bantams - true bantams (those that have no large fowl equivelent) tend to be small - breeds such as dutch, sabelpoots, belgian barbu d'anvers, barbu d'uccle, seramas.

If its not a true bantam then it won't be that small? In which case yes a true Bantam. I'll look into the ones you mentioned, thanks.

I guess I'm just going to have to do a lot of long distance window shopping before deciding on breed and colouring.

I am going to Yorkshire end of August so perhaps I should line up some farm/breeder visits then.
