we've had terrible rain here the past few days - its does happen a this time of the year  , so i nipped down to the allotment today to have a quick look and it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.

Not only that, were my allotment is, someone has also been doing some work on theirs and its the same type of reedy, rushy ground, and it looks grand!!! they've done minimal work on it so far and it looks really good so that makes me feel a tad better about getting mine done.

and the final thing is, the allotment chairman has told me not to do any work on the plot as yet because he thinks he's found me a different plot that doesnt have the rushes on.

so all in all - happy days!!!

it really was.  Since my previous post, it turns out that i am keeping the same plot as was first discussed, but to be honest im feeling a lot more confident xx
