Hey all,

I was just wondering what disease this is??? Im starting to worry a little as i think it may be spreading. Then again, the majority of the bush is fine.

I have a feeling its mildew, but i may be wrong so I thought i'd ask.

It does sound very like american mildew. I take it this is what you thought as well.

Funnily enough I do have Systhane Fungus Fighter from when i used it on the apple/plub trees, so i'll give it a blast with that tonight.

They may have got it because of the stress from dry pots? It was very dry earlier in the year
Any chance you can get them in the soil?

I would love to put my top and soft fruits in the ground, but I expect we'll be moving in a couple of years and I recon it would be easier for me to transport this way. Also I can put them in the fruit cage when producing fruit and then take them back out again.
