Planted my tayberries 2 years ago now and they're doing very well. I was told they fruited July/August but I have just finished picking the last of a big crop which started 2/3 weeks ago!!!
Is this a weather thing?

Could be if you've had the dry, warmer weather. Normally my raspberries follow on the heels of my red currants but I've been picking masses of red currants today and the raspberries are nowhere near sizing up let alone ripe. So yes, weather has been a real gremlin this year.

Plus some varieties do flower/fruit a little earlier than others  :)
