Moulting Hen??

Not too long ago I wrote with concerns about my Black Rock possibly being broody. Well, now she is loosing feathers everywhere. She moulted last October and I just don't think she should be doing another one now. This is the sensible time of year to moult, but I always though hens moulted in the most inopportune times!

Is she still broody? If so they do pull out their feathers, particularly on their breast to get closer and provide warmth and humidity to the eggs. If not she could be moulting. Autumn is the usual time but reading on here it seems they can moult anytime!

I'm not an expert; however from what I have read moulting can happen any time. I agree with Sassy here.
