JaK, I'm so sorry to hear about Mama hen! I feel like we've been keeping step these last few days

Have you managed to get in touch with her owner yet? I hope they appreciate you did all you could for her. Good luck with the babes, keep us informed.

Thanks HF, I noticed your post shortly after I'd written that. The chicks all seem fine, milling around for a while followed by a big pile up for a snooze.
