Thanks for the suggestions - I use a sort of x shape, with the cross at head height, and eight foot canes. When I was putting them up, an experienced allotmanteer came and gave me orders on construction, 'cos last year they blew down. After following instructions, I honestly believe I could just lick up the whole thing and move it to next year's spot, it's so tough.!
