Had a lovely straight line of peas growing well , went to allotment yesterday and a damn mouse has tunnelled along the whole lot and eaten the roots and some of the plants .They have all died :-(
Am i too late to try for another planting for maybe a late crop ?

Thanks Mark

Not too late, but be aware that late sown ones are more prone to mildew.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Try an early like Twinkle or Kelvedon Wonder.
Twinkle is lovely. :D
Good luck

When I arrived, there were so many docks, I thought it was Southampton.

It's worth a shot, I sowed some Kelvedon Wonder in July last year, had a reasonable crop off them, albeit not as good as earlier sown ones.

Mildew is a risk with late sown peas, not a certainty.

Not at all to late Mark, Plenty of time for a second crop.Ive just planted kelven wonder enough peas for a full row in trays. I always start my peas in trays in greenhouse and then plant out when two to three inches high. This way they get started quicker, dont suffer from seed failure, and my rows are even and consistant. Good luck Mark

I've just planted out several pots which had germinated in the greenhouse.

They got through the first night OK...

I'll do another few pots of four peas soon as well, because the first lot, planted direct a couple of months ago, were weevilled/thripped etc, and that's not nice...
