If I were you, I'd get this year in order first!

I'll take it as it comes - spring cabbage & cauli's already sown next Wyevale's 50p sale, hopefully.

Same as last year really.

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

well the brochure came with the winter onion sets in, so I'm having a think about them, but the rotation sort of sorts out what goes where.
All that may change a bit will be the varieties, if this years seed doesn't perform well!
so not much to think about  ::)

Pretty much the same here, problem is I like to try different varieties, but keep the good performers as well.  I'm actually starting to run out of room, so I'll have to cut back on 18 pea varieties next year!

There's nothing wrong with looking to the future - Y.E.A.H, I'm with you. It's exciting thinking about what to grow next year, as well as enjoying this years harvest.

My comment was tongue in cheek and directed straight at Y.E.A.H. as he's admitted that he's well behind this year!

Yes very behind  :tongue2: that's one of the reasons why i'm looking to next year when hopefully i'll be on time with everything   ::)

Good to know i'm not alone  :D
I've started choosing some varieties of plants for next year, but i'll try and save most of that until winter when there isn't much else to do!  :)

That's nice, but there's no need to justify yourself DD, I wasn't aiming anything at you

The years just all roll into each other to be honest.

I just note what worked, what didn't work for the same time the following year ... then try not to lose the notes

Going round the show at the weekend did give me plenty of ideas, many of which are to late to implement this year. I did purchase a Johnson seed packet of Turks Turban Winter Squash which I will sow next year.

Easier said than done, which is why I've been using my Diary on here a bit more this year :)
