Pop Hole or Poop hole?

We needed a new pop hole putting into a metal fence, It needed to be strong and could not find anything strong enough ready made.
We were going to buy all the wood and stuff and try to build one form scratch - then I found this idea -
The chickens hated it at first and had to be encouraged to go through, but now all but 2 are happy with it.

Still makes me smile when I look at it and I am sure it will become a talking point!

Ha, did the cockerel leave the lid up? typical!
You could hang a toilet roll beside it for them to dry their feet on the way in.
