I have been given an indian game chicken and 5 chicks my query is although i have not come across this breed before and i believe it to be a bird you eat what do i feed it on. at the moment they or on chick crumb but do you feed them a different growers to ones you feed your layers ??  any advice would be greatly received

We feed our meat chicks on the same chick crumb and growers that the layers are on, but we keep them on growers until a week before they are culled when they go onto a finishing pellet.

But if you aren't going to eat them, then treat them the same as your layers.
