Escapologist Chick

One of my young SLW chicks has managed to escape the enclosure within the main coop and this evening is roosting on the lower branches (still quite high up) of a small tree within the compound - with an Ex Batt on either side of her - She is only about 9 weeks old.

Do you think the Ex Batts roosting beside her is a sign they are going to be OK with her?  The Ex batts never roost here and always prefer a perch higher up or in the main hen house...

Yeah I kinda thought thats what they were doing.  I shall have to make sure she is returned to her chick enclosure in the morning though as she is too small to spend the day out in the garden with the big girls - she'll either get lost of eaten by a wandering cat poor thing...  best she stays in the coop til she is bigger.
