When I finished work at 4 this morning you could tell it had rained but was very cold and patches of freezing fog
All the way from my allotment in beautiful Derbyshire. I'm in year 3 of my allotment and wish I'd caught the bug years ago, things growing from strength to strength

Half a dozen fat drops this morning and that was it.  Ground very dry.  Not helped by really strong wind that has been relentless for about 6 weeks now.  Heavy rain forecast tomorrow, hope this is true.

Just looked at the weather radar:

http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

As it stands at the mo, a big mass of the glorious wet stuff covering Cornwall to Gloucester & heading my way!

BBC forecasting about 12 hours of rain.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

You know the good old British weather; once it starts it doesn`t know when to stop.

Within a few weeks just about everyone on here will be saying, "please, no more rain". That`s my prediction.

 ;) 8) ???
I`m left handed, what`s your excuse?

Must have started here around 5ish. 5.7 mm so far, the water butt is full along with another 500 litres worth in various tubs and bins.

Over the last five summers I`ve never yet had to resort to using mains water for the back garden, except for grey water.

The sun's still out here and the barometer shows no sign of falling yet (guess it's very slow moving so lots and lots of rain when it finally arrives!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

We've been saying that for a while now, it seems to have been raining on and off here for ages.
