I felt so sorry for all the ladies taking part in the Race For Life on the beach this morning.

Our local half marathon took place a couple of weeks ago, serious heavy showers gave way to 60 mph winds. :(

We think we`ve had it wet here today. Anyone watching the Canadian Grands Prix?
I`m left handed, what`s your excuse?

According to your local weather station, about 11mm:

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

watered up the allotment today although rain was forcast,    but been forcast a few times and none appeared.   around 4ish a light rain started and steadily increased  what a relief as so dry here near gt yarmouth. Just looked outside and the rain is heavy and the wind is really blowing  my poor flower and veg plants are taking a real bashing i expect. hopefully all my water butts will be full after this.

Never garden if your going to make mud.

Apart from the mess, you're impacting the soil and ruining it's structure.

I measured 10mm in my pop-bottle rain gauge over the course of yesterday. The water butts are full and the soil looks lovely and damp now.

Wet and windy from about 2.00pm until I do not know when. Grey sky now and everything is wet.
My poor courgettes look the worse for wear again.
