3 day old chicks eating meal worms???

Help my 3 day old chicks just ate about 20 meal worms is this ok???
The meal worms fell into there run by mistake and they wolfed them down whilst cheep cheeping and hopping around wanting more, I am just feeding them chick crumbs
but im now worried incase the meal worms will harm them....
Thanks Guy's your advice is invaluable...

I don't think mealworms in themselves will hurt them, but 20? boy. I know Joyfull always says her broodies give their chicks anything, including corn!

how many chicks do you have? 3 x 1 day old or several 3 day olds? Mine that have been hatched over the last few days will eat meal worms - usually I give them half each but the other day they had a whole one each.
Meal worms have protein in them but are also high in fat so really not advisable in large quantities however what has happened is in the past and they will be fine so long as it isn't a common occurrence

One of our 2 day old chicks gobbled up the meal worm dropped by Star

the same one (I think) was in a tug of war with another over a 3 inch worm yesterday
