Rhubarb - Where am I going wrong?

I can't remember what the variety is, just a bog standard I think. I have a clay soil which holds onto moisture, I just plonked them in and they grew very well.  Unfortunatly my family do not like it so I have three big healthy plants but way too much for me.

Its a pity you do not live near me as you could have a couple of them.  Once you have a large plant you can split them easily into two or three plants.
