Hi,

I planted my 1st earlies way back on 20th March and got lucky with such a blazing april and zero frosts 

Their 10th week in the ground was on Sunday 29th May and I know that they can be harvest from 10 weeks onwards.

My concern is that they have not yet flowered even though my second earlies have!  (should I remove the flowers from 2nds?)

Is if okay to pick 1st earlies before they flower?

Have a furtle, see what they look like. I planted mine about a week before you did, and they've been ready to eat for more than a week.

Flowering - not all varieties flower, and some flower more than others. Not something to worry about either way, IME.

The ready to harvest in ten to twelve weeks is at optimum growing conditions there are many things that can extend this period ie cold dry weather, why not just have a look under the plants and see if they are ready then dig as you need them

The British Potato Councill deem it a second early, so maybe a little while longer.
