Hi,
Sorry to confuse the issue but I have very similar symptoms on my potatoes that have definitely not had any frost damage (they were very late being put in and weren't up when we had our last frost)...

My mother in law also has some similar but her potatoes did catch the frost.  She wondered if it might be the startings of blight but we haven't had the typical conditions for the start of blight, although the arable farm on which hubbie works have already started spraying their spuds for blight.  I'm afraid I haven't had a good check of ours, as I haven't been back from work until it's started to get dark but will check for other signs and try and get some pics for tomorrow.

Blight it isn't.

Although warmish around here (your way too I expect) it has not been wet or humid enough for blight.

Please tell us pigeonpie are any of the leaves becoming hard and brittle?

Well, Salmo's info seems fairly conclusive though others still cast doubt so Salmo's might be 'the problem' coinciding with frost. I have yet to find if there is any yield, otherwise it is a case of see what happens next year.
