Quick Garlic Q.
« on: May 22, 2011, 19:13 »
Having planted Garlic for the first time from bulb sets last autumn my neighbour said a few days ago""" snip those flower bulb heads off Gazza,or your fruits wont set properley""

So,having done that I wondered if you can dry the tiny flower bulbs and re plant them later
on in the season.....or will the bulb strength be diminished .....hence just get new sets come winter time...QQQ.

heads I trimmed off.....the stems incidentally have been great snipped up and added to spag bowl as flavouring.

Bulbs in the heads I have taken apart.

What to do with these little babies.

Cheers for any thoughts.

Gazza

Here's a thread about garlic bulbils from last year that should tell you all:

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
