Onions

Just put in my onions. 6" apart and 1" deep.
Three rows this week and then it will be 3 rows on the 30.9.07 and then the last 3 rows end of next month.
Should I cover them with a clouch ?
Or should I just leave them?

seed? or sets ....... if sets make em 12 inch aprt in the rows and the rows 18 inch wide this makes for easy weeding etc .6inch is to close to get your feet inbetween to hoe etc
