My little Lily, a silkie, who for most of her 5years has been barren... gave me one beautiful egg last year.   A few weeks ago she started laying, I have had one egg from her every other day since!!!  Mother Nature works in very mysterious ways :)

Next time someone asks why their pullet didn't start laying on the very day the breeder promised, I will point them to this post and suggest they should keep waiting for the next five years!  :lol:

Wow, I thought it was unusal when the little amberlink Rosie I re-homed laid her first egg after 2.5 years!!!

Aaaawwww.... Bless....  Lily has now gone broody!!!!  I guess all this motherhood was just too much for her!
