My chicks are now 9 weeks and have bee eyeballing the big girls for a few weeks now. When is the best time to formally introduce without to many tattered feathers lol

Hi Rachel and congratulations on your little ones.  I'm not very experienced as we had first hatch last year.  I think we left it about 8 weeks before we let the little ones out to free range with the big girls, but I think that was too late, I stressed for ages about it (ex towny you see). Joyfull is full of experience as are other moderators who I'm sure will come along soon with more info.  In the meantime, good luck and enjoy
