Sadly the only potatoes I've dug up are infected ones, they were only about the size of a 10p!! I think probably 2 or 3 weeks before I have a root around.

I've seen a few post that they are harvesting already. I recall Lady Christl and Arran Pilot being mentioned....

I've harvested at least 20 Lady Christl spuds in the last week!  :)

(but they were all tiny "volunteers" from last years spud patch!)  :(
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Never mind, it won't be long 'til we are harvesting loads of this year's LC crop. :) I still don't think I chose enough of them, but I didn't want to put too much responsibility onto one or two varieties. ::)

i got told of an old gardener..that they are ready from when the flowers drop off...and the bottom leaves start to turn yellow.........but i would defenately wait till the flowers have dropped off....................thats if the variety you have in flower

I'm very tempted to furtle but am resisting - I put them in deep this year so the crowns aren't very high yet.

Patience!  :)
