Any advise anyone on green manures for autmn sowing?
I was going to plant Hungarian Grazing Rye until I read its difficult to dig in in spring?!

5 stone barley or wheat .sow it rake it in sit back n wait till its 6inch high.. mustard will do as well werks fer me

Picked young, it makes a wonderful prawn methi (or chicken).  Dries well too (to give kasuri)

I have red clover and mustard, the clover is easy to dig.
always have a target
and an objective.

Hi,

where do you guy's get your green manure from?
I have some in my order from the seed catologue but I dont want to wait that long as I dont intend to place my order for a while yet.
I have tried my local garden center (Clays) with no luck.
I would like some red clover, any ideas?
Like to be as nice as possible to our planet!

I found some fenugreek in my shed and have used that as a starter and some mustard seeds too...lets see what happens!
