cabbages with holes but no slugs

i have some cabbages growing and although not bad they have some holes in them .they are covered in net and there are no snail trails only ants around what else eats cabbage

you maybe right they are smallish holes

a good downpour can help a lot 

we're still waiting for one down here and have flea beetle on nearly everything

   I had Flea Bettle this year for the first time,2 of the cabbage plants were almost eaten down to the ground ,they are slowly recovering now ,I sprayed them with soft soap .you have to give them a good covering under the leaves and all over with soap as it kills them on contact .
