Tomatoes caught by the frost

My tomatoes were caught by the frost. The tops have dies but they are putting out a side shoot from base. Will they fruit on these side shoots  or should I pull them out and plant new ones?

worth sticking the sideshoots that you do remove into a small pot - they seem to root really quickly and in the past my perception has been that they really romp away once established (feels like they might even be more robust that the parents but I still don't see how).  Leaving them inside whilst they are rooting gives you a bit longer before planting them out for the danger of fronst to recede still further.
