curling leaves on potato plants

one of my fellow allotment holders potatoes have some of their leaves curling up (like a fern does as it opens) its not every plant but another polt holder has worried him by saying that its contaminated manure!!  I think its the slight frost from last week ?? any ideas??

If you look at the 3rd post down in this thread it will give you links to frosted potatoes and contaminated manure potatoes.

If it happened in the last few days then it is likely frost.

Keep us updated if it turns out to be aminopyralid contamination of the manure, so that we can get an idea how widespread this problem still is.

Don't know wether it is relevant but tomatoes do this and it is nothing to worry about and they are the same family.

Do the plants look generally unhealthy and stunted as well as having curled up leaves? I've just lost 3 Lady Christl to blackleg which has similar symptoms.

As I understand it, its a virus, similar to the one that affects tomatoes, but some plants can overcome it.
