I will be sowing all my squashes, pumpkins and corgettes this weekend (and sweetcorn). they will go in my mini glasshouse when germinated and hardened off before going to the allotment first week of June hopefully - and that's in Cornwall!

Likewise - well nearly - mine were sown a couple of days ago.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

My squash and courgettes were only sown a couple of weeks ago but were overtaking the window ledges so potted them on and put them in the greenhouse yesterday.  I'll keep them in there for another couple of weeks at least.

They germinate and grow so quickly, they are always at the end of my list of the start indoors stuff.  The cucumbers and basil are the last 2 inside the house now  :)

Bah,planted my courgetts and sweetcorn on Thursday! They were looking great yesterday.
By look at potato leaves I can say we already had a wave of frost. Last year it was 3d of May. I hope there will be no more frost.

Mine are still in the greenhouse - wasn't planning on finally planting them out until after half term (beginning June), just in case.
Lotty holder since Aug 09... I've FINALLY finished clearing it! On with the p.lanting  ....

I have put out 2 courgettes and 2 pumpkins, but kept back 2 of each just in case but they are getting so big I may have to risk it.

All my courgettes went out this week and the first squashes.  Only meant to plant out 4 courgettes but in the end didn't want to chuck the others out, so planted everything!!  ::)

I planted mine yesterday but only planted 3 and kept 2 in pots indoors, as I am a bit overly cautious.
Dig it!!!! ♥♥ :)

Nobody can eat that many courgettes !
I normally keep two plants and that is one too many. :)

Courgettes went out today, were getting too big and next few weekends are crazy so would have been July by the time they got out otherwise
Have luckily grown enough to have the same spare again so if the worse happens I will have triffids to replace them!

Mine are in the cold frame with the plan to get them on the lottie in 2 weeks - I learnt from last year  ;).  The courgettes are getting quite big now but no flowers yet. I have just planted some Butternut squash seeds in the greenhouse - I ended up with mini Butternut squash last year - not sure really why but I'm giving it another go.

i put two courgettes out last weekend, but have had them cosied up under a fleece tent ever since at night, have more in the mini greenhouse (along with the butternut), and think they will have to go out next weekend as they are getting too big and the first flowers are just starting to form
