Looks a bit like the netting I have to put in place to protect my blueberries from my commando-trained blackbirds (but minus the machine gun emplacements!)

Made me laugh at the weekend when the instructions on the netting say place gently over plants ... yeah right !

Several laths, half a ball of string, some cable ties and 1/2 a box of screws and id nearly got the plants covered.  ::) I know they'll still find a way in.

Thats a good 'un - I'm gonna try something similar - never having netted before I lost quite a bit of fruit last year :(

Canes tied together with slices of old stockings/tights - easy
Tieing very cheap netting to structure with twine a real/timeconsuming pain though
