Beet seeds

Hi everyone i sowed some beetroot outdoors this morning. Will it rot or be washed away in the heavy rain? i didnt water as rain was forcast but didnt expect it so heavy. cheers Neil.

Unless your patch is on a vertical slope I'd say that your beet will be somewhere in the vicinity of where you left them  :lol: I doubt if they will rot either as you didn't try to drown them first.

So long as the soil was warm when you put the seeds in, you can only wait and see I fear. Gardening and patience don't always go together though. As many of us have found out over the years.  :lol:
