rhubarb
« on: May 09, 2011, 13:45 »
I'm relatively new to this -so if my forum etiquette is faulty let me know - recently moved rhuburb (4 crowns) to a new site in the garden (january I think) - they all showed promising signs - healthy growth (it seemed) but the sticks have all become soft - possible culprit is that the (horse) manure I introduced to the area before planting was not as broken down as I believed
So, any thoughts?

Could be lack of water. Try giving it a good soaking and see if it looks any better in the morning.
I can remember when it were all fields round `ere.
