hi,is it possible to grow tomatoes and cucumber in the same greenhouse,as i was told this was not a good idea, regards archie

yes you can! A lot of us do :)
Cukes like a bit more humidity than the toms do, so some people hang a bit of polysheet over the cukes to keep that part of the g/h more humid. You could also spray them with water and this helps stop red spider mite as well.

They will co-habit nicely if the cucumber is misted regularly.... or, if that's not possible,  have a go at following mumofstig's and Ice's advice if you aren't able to do that.

Worth a try.

Had you considered an outside variety of cucumber too? There are several to choose from.  ;)

yes,thanks for the replys i will put them at the far end of the greenhouse and use plastic sheeting as a partition,regards archie
