My chickens killed and ate a sparrow

see now...ours pick at the dog when he's snoozing in the afternoon sun so i'm having nightmares of finding  him with a leg missing!

(also sat watching a hen pick at hubby's bum whilst he was on all fours cleaning out the coop - now that would have been worth paying pay-per-view every time it managed to actually grab some skin and resulted in him banging his head!)

Sometimes, in idle moments, I wonder what would happen if I dropped dead in the run and my body wasn't found for a few days.  :blink:

i was almost late for work this morning because of watching my ladies chase the sparrows round the garden - great to watch!
