Honeysuckle leaf problem

I got a honeysuckle plant last yr and it grew like mad then the leaves started getting a white sort of colour on them and dropping off, this happened til it was bare. It started growing back again in march was growing really well again and looking really green then the leaves started going funny again and its now bare again. What is causing this and how do I treat it?
