This morning I noticed a hen peeking out from under a rose bush (and weeds)  I went to look and there were 14 eggs!  I made a tortilla with 9, they were fine, will check the others tomorrow. They certainly keep us on our toes!

Another hen lays her eggs in the green sun shade stuff that is the roof to the shade bit of the garden, it is about 5 foot off the ground, there were 17 whole eggs and about 5 broken ones when we found them! She still goes up there but unfortunately her eggs are not very good now, the shells are very thin. None of the white hens are laying now....they are white leghorns we think)
And about 2 1/2 years old..

I have a lavender araucana that I got off cammi that is sat in the middle of a huge nettle bush on top of lots of blue eggs and a little Belgian that I got off Big Jen sat on a pile of little sabelpoot and Belgian eggs in my tin shed  . Good job the rest of the girls are laying like little troopers
