« on: April 26, 2011, 15:42 »
I just wrote down everything I am growing on the plot this year, I surprised myself with the amount, it really brings to life the quantity and range of veg when its written down...

Garlic
Onions
Leeks
Sprouts
Cabbages
Pak Choi
Kale
Parsnip
Broad Beans
Peas
French Beans (not in yet)
Carrots
Turnips
Radish
Lettuce
Beetroot
Cauliflower
Spuds
Courgette
Chilli

   :D

And Im loving every minute of it  ;)
We lived for days on nothing but food and water.

especially when you write average yields next to them...impressive isn't it ;)

(I know some won't come up to scratch, harvest wise, but a lot does, in my experience :) )

It certainly is.

I just did the same for what I grow at home-

Herbs (mint, tarragon, parsley, sage, rosemary, chives, thyme, basil...)
Lettuce
Spinach
Apples
Rhubarb
Blackcurrants
Gooseberries
Redcurrants
Grapes
Strawberries

I never knew I did so much; it certainly grows on you.......

Is this the official 'list everything you have growing' thread ?  8) If not i think we need one!

Its only my second year and I have a lot of stuff growing or planned for this year... And to think my plot was a field just over a year ago!

Thats a nice list btw

Asparagus

Runner Beans
Cherry Toms
Big Toms

I've just realised I forgot my pride and joy...Pumpkins!  One Atlantic giant plant straight in the middle of the square bed and one normal plant on each corner, ready to swamp the garden :)
