Where / what medium did you sow it in ?

In multipurp compost in an unheated greenhouse I would start getting concerned after 10 days.  In the open ground id give it a little longer before worrying.

It's not one of the quickest things to show, and if I remember last years dry spell, it was one of the things that waited for rain before it showed on the plot (despite me watering it ::) )

Mine's showing after just a week!  Needs regular water as it's in a bag/crate thing.... and protecting from the pesky blackbirds  ::)

Might be worth sowing again?

Put some more in....seed is fairly cheap and your first lot has probably had it. Should only take a week (mine was 5 days outside) in these temperatures.
Treat for slugs before they come up.

lot of my seeds have been very slow as it's been so hot 7 dry. When it does come through keep well watered if you can as it's prone to bolting imho  ;)
