Cammi, just be aware that you aren't guaranteed dark eggs with a copper black :)

Anyway i've got her and she has the most beautiful eyes! lol

He is when some of them die after 2 days and the people take them back to him and he just says to them, well birds do die sometimes, what do you want me to do about it?  And the fact that both he and his father who works with him are selling up!!!

Tells you something doesn't it?

Cammi, whereabouts are you in Lincs again?  Joyfull knows a lady who sells POL's but her POL's are a bit young at the moment, but they are not £18!!!  (sorry mods, bit naughty there!)

Cammi I bought my 5 chickens on Wednesday from this place and they do seem to be good healthy birds.  The lady we bought from is knowledgeable and gave us some good information.  They have a good range of hybrids and £18 each, I thoght was reasonable.  Another place I looked at, sold 3 hybrids for £50 but they didn't have as many breeds, but I just didn't like the place.
1 Chicken House Blue, 1 Pied Suffolk, 1 Sussex, 1 Copper Black, 1 Cocker Spaniel, 1 border terrier x min. bull terrier, 1 Cat and an allotment.

Cammi lives Folkingham direction Grannie, but yes £18 for a hybrid is very expensive especially as a pure breed cuckoo Marans isn't much more. Hybrids need only cost around £5-10 per hen  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

We had a coucou maran and we paid £18 pounds for her too.
When I die I will slide in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, screaming, "Whooo hooo!  What a ride!" as life is to be enjoyed to the fullest!
