land Cress.  I've never actually sown it. it was all over my plot when I took it on 25 years ago and its still there.  It self seeds all over but is a lovely addition to salads and egg butties.

I have some of this sitting on a table downstairs waiting to be sown into a container.

I didn't know that chard was pretty well a biennial, and as it's not gone to seed yet, we had some of last year's yesterday!

Marvellous, strong, irony flavour, toughish, but we still have teeth don't we...?

I'm growing more this year, after the first new spuds have left the patch - probably 'Bright Lights'.

Perpetual Spinach.  I've 2 self-seeded clumps, which produce a constant supply of healthy and tasty leaves. Slugs and birds never seem to touch it.  Free veg all winter and beyond!
