mdjlucan, I've merged your latest thread about your raspberry leaf into this existing one in order to keep it all together.  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Why do you want to spray your raspberries with Epsom salts?
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

You'll probably find the answer to what the leaf problem is here:

http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/horticulture/dg1152.html

If you're making epsom spray to treat the above, it won't work. Epsom salts help replenish a nutrient deficiency, not clear a pest/disease problem.

Right!

Here is a link to some information from the RHS about nutrient deficiencies (magnesium is about half way down the page.)

http://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/Profile.aspx?pid=456

I think you should be cautious about treating a problem it's not easy to be sure you've actually got (there's always a chance of creating another one instead!)

I'd give them a liquid feed of something like Miracle Grow (which contains trace elements) and see if that helped before going on to something more specific.
